No one saw it coming. It was a dark and gloomy night, the kind where you're not sure if it's going to rain or not. He went to Artslam! after all his protest. He had finished his painting and not one offer to buy him a drink was ever given. Even if the girls were getting offer of over $70 for unfinished art but fuck it.
A few days before that he had done paintings that even impress himself.
but those will be for another day...

things i don't remember

How long had it been? He sat there thinking about what had transpired the week before. Maybe this year would be different? Maybe not...

it is what it is...

It's a new year after so many heartache and tragic bleakness. Yes many of us had gone through so much that we thought it might have been the last time. Everyday was treated like a astronomical day because it was. Her laugh was new, new to the fact that she was happy. They both knew it was a happy time and a reason to celebrate life. Yes, those tears were of joyful circumspection events. Nothing could take it away. It wasn't just a new year but a new day of life and possibility. It was a day of love. New and old, friends and family, past and present, far and close. We can't decide what will happen in the near future but we can control ourself. Take the time to enjoy what is there. Take it in. Look. Somethings have change more than you would think. There are some things that you will never have any control over. Others, will not always understand this but you will. Listen. There is so much beautiful music that will make your heart skip a beat. Some songs can cause so much pain and happiness it can bring tears to your eyes. There is music everywhere you look. Maybe. Art and music has been mixed so many times. It seems to go hand in hand so many times. For longer than time has been record and before they had words for it. Before she came along and made the first man craw out of sky and sing her a song. Sing that sound so the world can see the beauty in listening to their hearts. Yes. It is what it is. It is what it is. It is what it is...
